Over mijzelf
Mijn naam is Radboud Kemme. Ik ben in 1993 afgestudeerd aan de Universiteit Utrecht en werk sindsdien in meerdere klinieken in Nederland. Vanuit de algemene praktijk heb ik me gespecialiseerd in orthopedie en neurochirurgie gezelschapsdieren middels stages, cursussen en opleidingen aan universiteiten en particuliere klinieken in onder meer de VS, het VK, Italië, Duitsland, België, Spanje en Nederland.
Ik voer osteosyntheses, corrigerende osteotomieën, TPLO's/TTA's, elleboog- en schouderartroscopies uit, cervicale en thoracolumbale decompressie van hernia's sinds 2000, en BioMedtrix totale heupprocedures sinds 2003. Ik heb gewerkt als freelance chirurg in meerdere gespecialiseerde (en enkele eerstelijns) klinieken, heb in 2016 mijn eigen verwijskliniek opgericht en ben sinds 2023 weer terug bij freelance chirurgie.
About me
My name is Radboud Kemme. I graduated from Utrecht University in 1993 and have been working in multiple clinics in the Netherlands ever since. From general practice I specialized in small animal orthopedics and neurosurgery by taking internships, courses and training at universities as well as private enterprise in, amongst others, U.S., U.K., Italy, Germany, Belgium, Spain an the Netherlands.
I have been performing osteosyntheses, corrective osteotomies, TPLO's/TTA's, elbow- and shoulder-arthroscopies since 1996, cervical and thoracolumbar herniated discs since 2000, and BioMedtrix total hip procedures since 2003. I have been working as a freelance surgeon in multiple specialist (and some first-opinion) clinics, founded my own referral clinic in 2016, and been back to freelance surgery since 2023.
Wat ik doe
Hoewel ik in het verleden mijn eigen chirurgische instrumenten, apparatuur en implantaten meenam, beoefen ik op dit moment alleen chirurgie. Dit betekent dat klinieken die mijn diensten willen gebruiken, in staat moeten zijn om te zorgen voor goede en veilge anesthesie, aseptische procedures voor patiëntvoorbereiding, en toegang moeten hebben tot de juiste diagnostische (beeldvormende) hulpmiddelen (bij voorkeur ook CT) en de benodigde chirurgische boor- en zaag apparatuur en instrumenten.
What I do
Although in the past I used to bring my own surgical tools, equipment and implants, at present I only practice surgery. This means that clinics that want to use my services need to be able to provide for decent anaesthesia, aseptic procedures for patiënt preparation, and have access to to proper diagnostic (imaging) tools (preferably CT as well) as well as applicable surgical powertools and instruments.
